Eclipse jazz

DESGIN + PRODUCTION + MARKETING + GRANT WRITING

As the Director for Eclipse Jazz, a nonprofit arts organization, my role was to bring musicians to the University of Michigan for performances and workshops. I negotiated contracts, wrote grants proposals, booked venues, designed posters and marketing materials, hosted radio interviews, etc. Performers included Gil Scott-Heron, Bob Dylan, R.E.M., Don Cherry, Tito Puente, Celia Cruz, Alex Chilton, John Prine, Marianne Faithfull, and many more.
